MECHANICAL ENGINEER:

 
 

ORION is seeking qualified candidates for Mechanical Engineer positions.
 

The position will include assisting in hydraulic computer modeling of industrial facility systems, generation of cost estimates and technical reports, as well as designing fluid and gas piping distribution systems, HVAC systems, and industrial facility piping systems. Responsibilities include client site visits, creation of construction drawings and bid document packages, and performance of engineering studies resulting in technical reports and/or client presentations. Experienced professional w/10 years experience preferred.
 

Development is expected toward Professional Engineer registration. Good oral and written communication skills are required. Candidates must have a BSME degree.

ORION is seeking qualified candidates for a Civil/Structural Engineer position.
 

This position includes structural design and calculations for industrial and commercial projects, facility design, project management, and some architectural capability. High caliber, professional attitude w/10 years experience preferred.
 

Good oral and written communication skills are required. Candidates must be registered have Michigan PE registration.

DESIGNER/CAD OPERATOR:

 
 

The position includes electrical and/or mechanical design with emphasis on computer aided drafting utilizing AutoCAD software. Associate and/or technical degrees are preferred. Responsibilities include interfacing with clients, fieldwork to route piping and create equipment installation plans, assist engineers in creation of construction drawings and bid document packages, and generation of 2D and 3D drawings following client standards.
